Qualifications

• Must have a class A commercial driver's license and required endorsements for the position.

• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Successfully pass a DOT drug test and a DOT physical capacity assessment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with respect and courtesy.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods and ensure loads are secure.
• Secure cargo using ropes, chains, binders, or covers.
• Read and interpret maps to determine routes.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and verify placement.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to the vehicle.
• Validate delivery instructions and collect receipts or signatures as required.
• Operate truck-related equipment and communicate with bases or drivers as needed.
• Load or unload trucks and adhere to safe working policies.
