Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a CDL A driver to transport materials to customer sites in a safe, timely manner. You will unload goods, help customers, and maintain accurate delivery logs while staying compliant with DVIR and HOS requirements.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, acting as a customer service liaison, and performing pre/post trip inspections. A high school diploma or GED and CDL A are required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Must pass MVR and obtain DOT medical card within 5 days of request; <=5 moving violations in 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicle or tractor-trailer to transport material to customer sites.
• Assist customers with unloading material safely and accurately.
• Maintain DVIR/HOS compliance using handheld device.
• Verify orders and maintain delivery logs with weights, mileage, and locations.
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues as needed.
• Keep service logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.
