Job summary

T.J. Sheehan Distributing in Liverpool, NY is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver who can obtain their CDL within six months of hire. This role offers 40+ hours over a four-day work week (Monday–Friday) and starts at $22.50 per hour.

You will deliver pre-loaded pallet orders, assemble shipments, and merchandise to standard levels, while meeting safety and DOT requirements. The position requires a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of local driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 150

• At least 1 year of local driving experience (preferred).
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours & days.
• Interpret numerical values on merchandise.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal highway rules and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of the New York delivery territories.
• Ability to fulfill physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-loaded pallet orders and assemble orders from truckload. This is physical work; expect ~20 stops per route.
• Move/deliver with hand truck or pallet jack; operate a 26' straight box truck or trailer when available.
• Merchandise products to company standards; maintain backroom storage and dispose of packaging materials.

Description

TJ Sheehan is looking for Non-CDL Delivery Drivers that are willing to obtain their CDL within six months of their hire date. We are extremely busy and guarantee steady work—40+ hours/4 day work schedule (M-F).

**$22.50 per hour to start

What you'll be doing:

• You will be delivering pre-loaded pallet orders and assembling orders from truckload. This is physical work. You must be able to handle routes with an approximate average of 20 stops and work at a good pace.
• You must also be able to move/lift up to 150 lbs. (half kegs). Deliver with a hand truck or pallet jack and work out of a 26' straight box truck or trailer if available.
• Merchandise products to both customer and company standards. This includes filling shelf, building and rebuilding displays, maintaining account storage area typically the back room,, and disposing of all cardboard and shrink wrap in the designated receptacle at the account.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Valid Driver's License
