Job summary

Prime Meats LLC is seeking a dedicated non-CDL driver to transport finished goods and raw materials to distribution centers and manufacturing plants across the Southeast. The role includes daily pre/post trip inspections, meeting delivery schedules, and logging trips in the ELD system.

We offer paid training, comprehensive health benefits, a quarterly bonus program up to $1000, a referral bonus of up to $300, and 10 paid days off per year.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a non-CDL driver.
• Willing to travel weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required; we can sponsor if needed.
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to manufacturing plants or distribution centers.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections daily and report issues.
• Meet delivery schedules and report delays to dispatch.
• Unload products at the final delivery point.
• Log work/rest periods in the ELD and submit fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules, company policies, and DOT regulations.
• Maneuver trucks for loading/unloading.
• Collect customer payments and verify delivery instructions.
• Report incidents or DOT violations.

Responsibilities:

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections daily and report any maintenance-related issues to the Logistics Department.
• Meet delivery schedules and report to dispatch any delays within the route.
• Unload products for customers at the final delivery point.
• Document and log work/rest periods on the ELD and submit fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect customer payments, validate delivery and verify any specific instructions.
• Report any incidents or DOT violations.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience as a non-CDL driver.
• Willing to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing to get Composite or steel-toe shoes
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required. We can sponsor your DOT medical card if you do not have one.
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• Bilingual (preferred).
• E-Verify.
