Job summary

Prime Meats is hiring Delivery Drivers to evenly distribute premium protein products across customers on assigned routes. The role requires handling perishable items, completing paperwork, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

We offer a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, paid training, and opportunities for bonuses based on performance. You must have English communication skills and a valid DOT card; sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as a non-CDL driver (min 6 months).
• Ability to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required or we can sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Transport products to customers along assigned routes.
• Complete daily routes efficiently and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document results.
• Verify orders, delivery paperwork and customer instructions for accuracy.
• Collect payments, obtain confirmations, and complete required docs.
• Use ELD systems to track driving hours and route activity.
• Follow DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Report safety issues and vehicle maintenance needs.

Responsibilities:

• Transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated products to customers along assigned routes.
• Complete daily routes efficiently and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify orders, delivery paperwork, and customer instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Collect payments, obtain delivery confirmations, and complete required documentation.
• Use ELD systems and other technology to track driving hours, inspections, and route activity.
• Follow DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Report safety issues, vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, and customer feedback.
• Maintain safe driving practices and actively prevent accidents.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience as a non-CDL driver.
• Willing to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing to get Composite or steel-toe shoes.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required. We can sponsor your medical card if you do not have one (subject to terms and conditions).
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• Ability to communicate in English required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the E-Verify employment verification process.
