Job summary

Prime Meats is seeking CDL Delivery Drivers to support nationwide growth from our Virginia area. You will deliver fresh, frozen, and refrigerated products along assigned routes and ensure on-time deliveries with accurate paperwork.

Requirements include a minimum 6 months CDL-B experience, ability to lift 110 lbs, DOT medical card, English communication, and E-Verify eligibility. We offer competitive pay, health benefits, paid training and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a CDL-B driver.
• Ability to travel weekly out of town.
• Lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing to wear composite or steel-toe shoes.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required; we may sponsor.
• No DWI/DUI in last 10 years.
• English communication required.
• US work authorization and E‑Verify compliance.

Responsibilities

• Transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated products to customers along routes.
• Complete daily routes efficiently and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy.
• Collect payments and obtain delivery confirmations.
• Use ELD and other tech to track hours and route activity.
• Follow DOT, food safety standards and company policies.
• Report safety issues and maintenance needs.

Responsibilities:

• Transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated products to customers along assigned routes.
• Complete daily routes efficiently and ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify orders, delivery paperwork, and customer instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Collect payments, obtain delivery confirmations, and complete required documentation.
• Use ELD systems and other technology to track driving hours, inspections, and route activity.
• Follow DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Report safety issues, vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, and customer feedback.
• Maintain safe driving practices and actively prevent accidents.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience as a CDL B driver.
• Willing to travel out of town weekly and lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing to get Composite or steel‑toe shoes.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required. We can sponsor your medical card if you do not have one (subject to terms and conditions).
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• Ability to communicate in English required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the E‑Verify employment verification process.
