Job summary

Scott Electric Company in Hagerstown, MD, is hiring a Full-Time Non-CDL Delivery Driver. You will safely operate box trucks, load/unload materials, and deliver goods to customer sites in a timely and professional manner.

This in-person role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with OT as needed; it requires 21+ with a valid license, DOT physical, background check, and drug testing. Benefits include 401(k), health and more.

South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company, has a current opening at our Hagerstown, MD branch for a Full-Time Non-CDL Delivery Driver. M-F hours 7:00AM to 3:30PM + OT.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate box trucks for deliveries
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Deliver goods to various sites in a timely and professional manner
• Perform all essential warehouse duties, when needed

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Prior experience in van/box truck operation
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history (Age 21)
• Minimum age of 21 (insurance requirement)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Ability to unload the assigned truck at delivery sites

Preferred:

• Forklift operation experience
• Electrical product knowledge

Must submit to a background check and drug testing
