Job summary

Starmark Local LLC seeks a dependable Non-CDL Commercial Driver for local routes within 150 miles. This part-time role offers 2-4 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a focus on white-glove service and building lasting customer relationships.

You will be the face of Starmark on the road, delivering funeral products, ensuring on-time orders, and maintaining documentation. Safety, accuracy, and strong communication are essential as you support the service center and customers daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Willingness to travel to Starmark sites across the United States for vacation covering and startup support.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Comfortable using GPS routing tools and a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport funeral products to customers within your territory.
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries with professional service.
• Verify orders before loading and upon delivery; collect signatures and payments.
• Maintain delivery documentation and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Represent Starmark professionally and build long-term customer relationships.

What You'll Do

Deliver with Excellence

• Safely transport Starmark funeral products to funeral homes throughout your territory
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries with professional service
• Verify orders before loading and upon delivery
• Collect signatures, payments, and maintain delivery documentation

Build Customer Relationships

• Serve as the primary face of Starmark during deliveries
• Create positive experiences through professionalism and communication
• Support customer needs and help resolve issues when they arise
• Develop long-term relationships built on trust and reliability

Support Service Center Operations

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Secure shipments using proper equipment and procedures
• Help prepare next-day orders and specialized packaging
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Safety First

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after routes
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean driving record and commitment to safe driving

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Compliant with Department of Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to travel occasionally to Starmark sites across the United States for vacation covering, start-up assistance and overall site delivery assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Comfortably using GPS routing tools and mobile technology with a reliable smart phone

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds with proper equipment
• Operate lift gates and pallet jacks for loading and unloading freight with a 26' box truck
• Sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move constantly throughout the workday
• Work in warehouse and delivery environments
