Job summary

Starmark Local LLC in North Carolina is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Commercial Driver to deliver funeral products on local routes within 150 miles. You will be the face of Starmark on the road, building positive relationships with customers, and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT safety standards.

This is a full-time position with insurance coverage, vacation time, and holiday pay after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Compliant with Department of Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Openness and ability to travel occasionally to Starmark sites across the United States for vacation covering, start-up assistance and overall site delivery assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Comfortably using GPS routing tools and mobile technology with a reliable smart phone.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Starmark funeral products to funeral homes throughout your territory
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries with professional service
• Verify orders before loading and upon delivery
• Collect signatures, payments, and maintain delivery documentation
• Serve as the primary face of Starmark during deliveries and build positive relationships
• Support customer needs and help resolve issues when they arise
• Develop long-term relationships built on trust and reliability
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and maintain a safe, organized work area

What You'll Do

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after routes
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean driving record and commitment to safe driving

What We Are Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds with proper equipment
• Operate lift gates and pallet jacks for loading and unloading freight with a 26' box truck
• Sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move constantly throughout the workday
• Work in warehouse and delivery environments
