Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Container Delivery Driver to join Team Green and grow with the company. You will operate a container delivery truck, perform safety inspections, and ensure safe container placement at customer sites.

The role requires a valid CDL, 1 year of commercial driving or a CDL school certificate, and the ability to lift heavy objects with proper equipment. You will work on a schedule starting at 5:00 AM with overtime opportunities and weekends off when the job is finished.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a CDL school certificate.
• Ability to repetitively lift/move objects up to 50 lbs and up to 300 lbs with equipment.
• Strong depth perception for maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate a container delivery truck and hydraulic systems to safely deliver, position, and remove solid waste containers.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and maintain route sheets.
• Maintain the truck’s cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Represent GFL professionally, ensuring containers are placed safely at customer sites.

What You\u2019ll Need To Succeed

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL).
• Experience: At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to repetitively lift or move objects up to 50 lbs, and occasionally move up to 300 lbs using proper equipment.
• Vision: Strong depth perception for maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas.
