Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Container Delivery Driver in Virginia to join Team Green. You will operate a container delivery truck with hydraulic systems, delivering and positioning waste containers for customers in a safety-focused environment.

We offer a stable schedule with overtime options, home every night, and a company culture that emphasizes safety and growth. CDL is required, with at least 1 year of driving experience or a CDL school certificate, plus the ability to lift 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to repetitively lift or move objects up to 50 lbs, and occasionally move up to 300 lbs using proper equipment.
• Strong depth perception for maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate a container delivery truck and hydraulic systems to safely deliver, position, and remove solid waste containers.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and maintain accurate route sheets.
• Maintain your truck like it’s your own—keep cab clean and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Represent GFL with a professional demeanor, ensuring containers are placed safely at customer sites.
