Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a collaborative Node.js Developer with Java/Angular experience to design and build modern front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs in an Agile environment.

You will contribute to cloud integrations on AWS, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and help guide architectural improvements while ensuring reliability and quality with testing frameworks such as Cucumber and monitoring with Splunk.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs using Node.js.
• Contribute hands-on full-stack development across core engineering projects.
• Assist in cloud architecture transitions on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Collaborate with Database, CTO, and API integration teams.
• Ensure reliability and quality with testing (Cucumber) and monitoring (Splunk).
• Participate actively in Agile team workflows and clarify evolving requirements.
