Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a collaborative Node.js Developer with Java and Angular experience to design and build modern front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs. You will contribute to cloud integrations on AWS, participate in Agile workflows, and work with cross-functional teams to evolve architecture and services.

The role requires 4+ years in software development, strong Node.js skills, and practical AWS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Proficient in Node.js, with practical experience in Java and Angular for legacy DB2 connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs primarily using Node.js.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams including Database, CTO, and API integration groups.
• Analyze existing applications to support target-state design and cloud architecture transitions on AWS.
• Ensure application reliability and quality using testing frameworks (Cucumber, API testing tools) and monitoring (Splunk).
