Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Nocturnist (PRN) to support open night shifts at WS&R Hospital, providing flexible night coverage from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in a busy hospital medicine team.

We require AGACNPs or PAs with at least 1 year of inpatient, hospital medicine, acute care, or critical care experience. You will deliver comprehensive inpatient care, participate in rapid response, and help manage about 73 overnight patients with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• AGACNP or PA with inpatient, hospital medicine, acute care, or critical care experience required.
• 1 year of inpatient or hospital medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver comprehensive inpatient assessments, admissions, cross-coverage and discharge coordination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient care, including patient assessments, admissions, cross-coverage, medication management, discharge coordination, and clinical decision-making.
• Participate in rapid response and code support, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services.
• Work in a high-volume overnight environment, supporting approximately 73 patients with a multidisciplinary team.
