Job summary

Northside Hospital Cherokee in Georgia is seeking an experienced Nocturnist to join the hospital's inpatient team. This role involves a 5 on/10 off schedule and working in a community hospital setting with strong specialty support and dedicated APP assistance.

The position requires a valid medical degree, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, and an unrestricted Georgia license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of post-residency experience.
• Diploma for completion of an ABIM-accredited Internal Medicine internship and residency.
• NBME or Flex certification.
• ABIM certification or Board Eligible.
• Unrestricted DEA number or ability to obtain one.
• Unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• PREFERRED: Current BCLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist inpatient coverage in a community hospital setting.
• Collaborate with APPs and specialty teams; support a closed ICU environment.
• Participate in maintaining high-quality patient care and safety standards.
