Job summary

Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking an experienced Nocturnist to join our award-winning team. This role offers a 5 on, 10 off schedule in a community hospital setting with APP support and a closed ICU, allowing focus on high-quality patient care in a collegial environment.

Applicants must hold an MD from an accredited school, be ABIM certified or BOARD-eligible, possess an unrestricted Georgia license and DEA, and have NBME/Flex certification with at least one year post-residency experience.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year post-residency experience.
• ABIM internship and residency completed.
• NBME or Flex certification.
• ABIM certification or board eligible.
• Unrestricted DEA number or ability to obtain one.
• Unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Preferred: current BCLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• 5 on 10 off night schedule as a Nocturnist.
• Work in a community hospital setting with APP support.
• Operate in a closed ICU with strong specialty support.
