Job summary

Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking an experienced nocturnist to join our inpatient team, delivering high-quality care overnight.

This 7 pm–7 am position operates on a 5 on / 10 off schedule with APP support, a closed ICU, and strong specialty backing.

Candidates must hold an MD, ABIM board certification (or board-eligible), an Internal Medicine residency, a GA license, and a DEA number.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of ABIM-accredited Internal Medicine internship and residency.
• ABIM certification or eligibility to be certified.
• NBME or Flex certification.
• Unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist inpatient coverage at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
• Work 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 5 on / 10 off schedule.
• Collaborate with APPs and specialty services.
• Support a closed ICU model.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.

ABIM Internal Medicine residency diploma
