We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 15 physicians and 2 APPs, supported by a clinical performance nurse at Ascension Borgess Hospital.
- We take pride in our relationship with the hospital and encourage our providers to join hospital committees and participate in medical staff activities.
- We hold two monthly team meetings and one weekly meeting to discuss group performance.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible in family or internal medicine.
- We support both H1 and J1 Visa Candidates, with in-house visa specialists and licensing and credentialing experts.
- All visa-related filing fees are paid, and services are covered by Sound.
- New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- The Nocturnist works a combination of 3 PM - 3 AM shifts and 7 PM - 7 AM shifts in a 7-on/7-off schedule.
- We have seven on/off schedules and help cover for teammates as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient coverage as hospitalists.
- The ICU is closed; our team does not perform procedures or run codes. A rapid response team assists.
- Engage in teaching medical students, APPs, and third-year Ascension Genesys IM residency program residents.
