SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our nocturnist team in Dothan, Alabama. The selected candidate will provide overnight care to hospitalized adults, collaborating with physicians to ensure patient outcomes.
The position features a 12-hour night shift from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, autonomy within a physician-led team, and opportunities to work at the top of your license. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.
Competenze
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Board certification is mandatory.
- Preferred inpatient, hospitalist, critical care, emergency, or acute care experience.
- Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a physician-led team.
Mansioni
- Perform 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Deliver hospital-based care to adult patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Manage admissions, daily rounds, and cross-coverage duties.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging results.
- Adjust medications and treatments as required for patient care.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions overnight.
- Work collaboratively with doctors and hospital leadership to enhance care quality.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and communication regarding patient activities.
