Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a full-time nocturnist to join our Hospitalist team in Stamford, CT. This inpatient role provides supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents and supports surgical and OB/GYN teams with medical coverage.

The nocturnist works a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule in a 305-bed teaching hospital, with EPIC electronic medical record and a PSLF-eligible benefits package designed for physicians committed to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with CT license or ability to obtain one
• Board eligible/board certified; Internal Medicine preferred
• Inpatient experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents
• Emergency inpatient coverage for medical patients on the non-teaching service
• Provide medical consultation for surgery and OB/GYN residents
• Night shift coverage with 7 days on, 7 days off
