Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Nocturnist for the NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx location in Bronx, NY. The role is a regular full-time hospitalist position with a 40-hour week and scheduling flexibility within a three‑physician group.

Base salary ranges from $241,000 for board-eligible to $246,000 for board-certified, with additional compensation possible through call or sessional/per diem hours, and comprehensive benefits described below.

Qualifications

• License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Prior Hospitalist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for the care and management of patients admitted to the General Medicine Service, but remaining in the emergency department awaiting a bed, with consultation provided by specialists as necessary.
• Provides Attending oversight to the medicine service supervising trainees and responding to clinical changes and emergencies.
• Spends 100% of time in clinical activities, including supervision of residents and clinical projects.
