Job summary

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, seeks a .70 FTE Nocturnist Hospital Medicine physician to join our stable, ABMS board-certified internist- and family medicine-led team in Bennington, VT.

The role offers nocturnist coverage from 7pm to 7am, with a potential path to full-time day shifts and a total salary up to $332,281 when combined with day duties. Excellent benefits and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with residency completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for Vermont license.

Responsibilities

• Nocturnist coverage 7p–7a in a 10-bed ICU setting.
• Collaborate with ED, surgical and medical teams.
• Participate in hospital-wide quality initiatives and CME support.
