Job summary

Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC seeks a compassionate Nocturnist Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join a growing team of 40 physicians and 9 APPs caring for patients under inpatient physicians. The ideal candidate will have admissions experience and be flexible for weekend and night shifts (11 hours).

The position may also require periodic shifts at Novant Health Pender Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Graduate of NCCPA-accredited PA program or NP/post-Master's NP program.
• Current PA or NP license in appropriate state; NCCPA or state nursing board registry; BLS; DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight inpatient care and respond to codes.
• Inpatient hospitalist care and cross-coverage.

What We're Looking For

NovantHealth New Hanover Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and experienced Nocturnist Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join an established, growing team of 40 physicians and 9 APPs to provide care our patients under the direction of inpatient physicians in Wilmington, NC. The ideal provider would have experience with admissions, be flexible and able to work weekends and nights (11 hour shifts).

Position will also pick up periodic shifts at Novant Health Pender Memorial Hospital.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule 7on/7off, 8:00pm - 7:00am, Tuesday - Monday
• No call required

Candidate Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master's NP program required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, DEA registry required.
