Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, Inc is seeking a NOC Tier 1 Technician to support KITS and a government customer in Washington, DC. The role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and a hybrid work model with four days onsite.

The NOC team monitors a mission-critical infrastructure, provides first-line support, and ensures high availability in a fast-paced environment. The position offers growth in IT operations and network support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years IT support/NOC experience.
• Basic networking concepts and technologies.
• Experience with ticketing systems and documentation tools.
• Public Trust eligibility is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network and system infrastructure and respond to incidents in real time.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 per procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and health checks on devices and services.
• Assist in maintaining NOC documentation and runbooks.
