Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a Network Operations Analyst to support KITS and a government customer in Washington, DC. The role provides 24x7 monitoring, event detection, triage, and incident management across the enterprise IT infrastructure, with emphasis on timely escalation and resolution per established procedures.

The position is shift-based, requiring availability for nights, weekends, federal holidays, and during Government closures or Continuity of Operations activations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on NOC/SOC or enterprise IT operations experience.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools and platforms.
• Experience using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24x7 monitoring of the enterprise network, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Detect, triage, and classify events and incidents following priority levels and procedures.
• Initiate and manage the incident lifecycle in the ITSM platform.
• Escalate incidents to Tier 2/3/4 engineering teams as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders during active incidents.
• Support shift handoffs and 100% coverage continuity across watches.
