The role emphasizes monitoring, performance analysis, patching, backups, and tier 2/3 support. Candidates must have 4–7 years of experience, be eligible for a SECRET clearance, and be willing to work swing or night shifts for 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of system administration or NOC experience.
• Strong proficiency with Windows and Linux OS.
• Experience with virtualization, monitoring & backup solutions.
• Ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues under 24x7 pressure.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance & U.S. citizenship.
• Willingness to work swing or night shifts for 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers in production environments for NOC operations.
• Monitor and analyze system performance; address capacity and stability issues.
• Implement and maintain patching, backup, and recovery strategies; validate restores.
• Troubleshoot complex infra problems; coordinate with networks and security teams.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls per security policies.
• Operate and maintain NOC tool infrastructure (monitoring, logging, ticketing).
• Document system architectures, baselines, changes, and incidents.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and guidance to junior admins.
