Job summary

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings is seeking a full-time RN Charge to serve on the Transitional Care Unit (TCU) for 72 hours per pay period. The role includes supervising nursing care, medication administration, and ensuring compliance with ND DOH and CMS standards.

The ideal candidate holds a North Dakota RN license and is in good standing across all states licensed in the US, with strong leadership and documentation skills to coordinate resident care and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current North Dakota RN license.
• Must be in good standing in all states where licensed as a nurse in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observation and interviews.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' plans of care; updates plans as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care to residents according to policies and standards.
• Documents accurately in residents' records per care policies.
• Provides leadership to subordinate staff and may handle disciplinary actions.
• Ensures staffing levels meet scheduled shifts and standards.
• Communicates residents' needs to the care staff.
• Interacts with physicians and other health care facilities as needed.
• May act as a resource during a shift and coordinate with other units.
• Continues to update nursing skills through in-services and meetings.
• Assists in resident care conferences and staff training.
