Job summary

Vista Prairie at Ridgeway is hiring a Resident Assistant for the overnight shift in New Ulm. You'll support residents from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, helping them rest safely and keeping their care on track through the night.

Base pay ranges from $19.19 to $22.25 per hour, with an overnight differential of $2.00 and a weekend differential of $3.00. Full-time overnight hires may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus for 40+ hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Previous experience as a resident assistant, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role.
• Preferred: Training in a health-related field.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, watching for safety at every step.
• Administer or assist with medications according to each resident's care plan and training.
• Check in on residents regularly and respond quickly when they call for help.
• Build real relationships with the people you're caring for.
• Watch for and report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse on duty.
