Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active LPN license.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must read, analyze and interpret English-language information.
• Excellent verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments in EMR.
• Ensure proper storage of prescription drugs per facility policy.
• Notify physician of adverse reactions and non-compliance.
• Maintain medication cart and room organization.
• Practice infection control and safety policies; respond to emergencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
