Valeris in Morrisville, NC is seeking a senior leader for the NOC Operations & Service Reliability role. You will oversee 24x7 monitoring across infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, Kubernetes, and APIs, drive incident response, and own escalation and runbooks to ensure reliable service delivery.

The role emphasizes ITIL processes, service governance, and collaboration with vendors. You will mentor teams, define monitoring standards, and report on operational performance while aligning with business

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT Infrastructure / Operations with leadership experience.
• Strong ITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Experience managing NOC or enterprise operations teams.
• Ability to drive operational transformation and standardization.
• Effective communication for management and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 monitoring operations for network, infrastructure, cloud, and SaaS systems.
• Define service-criticality, ownership, escalation paths, and monitoring standards.
• Govern service onboarding, runbooks, ServiceNow integration, and reporting.
• Own escalation model and execution of incident, problem, and change management.
• Drive MTTR reduction and SLA adherence.
• Lead vendor and service governance with service providers.
• Develop operational dashboards and metrics.
• Codify continuous service improvement initiatives.
