Job summary

Irvine Cottages is seeking a Field Supervisor (CNA) to supervise direct care across our Irvine and Mission Viejo locations. This full-time role requires a compassionate, proactive individual who can coordinate daily care, monitor residents, and support caregivers and administrators.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, assisting with activities of daily living, taking vitals, auditing medications, and ensuring safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal background clearance required.
• Two years of experience in an assisted living setting preferred.
• First Aid/CPR Certification required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Pre-employment physical and TB Test required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Check on residents daily and create a schedule of rounds.
• Collaborate with field colleagues and share responsibilities.
• Assist in resident discharges and manage files, medications, and DME.
• Observe residents for signs of infection, skin tears, and other condition changes.
• Follow protocols for calling 911.
• Identify new resident care needs and communicate plans to Administrators and caregivers.
• Assist with activities of daily living and take vitals daily.
• Monitor and ensure cleanliness of homes, resident rooms, and restrooms.
