Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM NOC shift in a rotation schedule beginning 4/2. The ideal candidate will have at least a 10th grade education and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional materials.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications and technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and staff.
• Math skills to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Reasoning skills to solve problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions and prepare them for tests or procedures.
• Transport residents between rooms and assist with transfers as needed.
• Follow facility policies and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
