Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Vascular Surgeon for full-time or part-time work focused on advanced wound care. You’ll apply your vascular training to arterial, venous and diabetic wounds while maintaining core surgical skills, with no overnight call.

This role offers weekday schedules, competitive earnings between $250,000 and $500,000 per year for full-time, and the chance to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the region.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Unrestricted medical license in state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
• No previous wound care experience required; company provides training.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds (arterial, venous, diabetic).
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols as part of care teams.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to monitor healing.
