Job summary

Skilled Wound Care, Arlington, VA, is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon to join as a wound care physician leading initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities to use your surgical skills in bedside procedures.

You will work in a clinical autonomy setting outside the high-pressure hospital environment, engaging in debridement, wound care and patient follow-up, with a focus on work-life balance and professional autonomy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Unrestricted medical license in current state required.
• DEA license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities in post-acute care to follow healing progress.
