Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound-care initiatives in Pittsburgh, PA. This role emphasizes a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with options for full-time or part-time engagement, allowing you to maintain clinical skills while avoiding overnight emergencies.

You’ll apply your vascular expertise to treat arterial, venous, and diabetic wounds, perform bedside debridement, and participate in post-acute care collaborations with skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility)
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds (arterial, venous, diabetic ulcers)
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in SNFs and post-acute settings to follow healing progress
