Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Birmingham, AL seeks a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound-care initiatives while applying vascular expertise. The role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule and options for full-time or part-time engagement.

You’ll treat arterial, venous, and diabetic wounds, maintain surgical skills, and enjoy autonomy with streamlined documentation and an emphasis on patient outcomes. Training is provided, with compensation reflecting performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds (arterial, venous, diabetic).
• Advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, tracking healing progress.
