Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; welcoming surgeons from all backgrounds; no prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
