Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This role offers a no-call lifestyle with Monday–Friday hours and the flexibility of part-time or full-time arrangements.

You will apply Internal Medicine expertise to manage chronic wounds, perform bedside procedures, and work with cross-functional teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state, or eligibility.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as needed.
• Manage chronic wounds and associated comorbidities in patients.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams.
• Follow patient healing outcomes and document progress with efficient workflows.
