Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking Internal Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers Monday–Friday schedules with either full-time or part-time options, enabling you to focus on quality patient care without night shifts.

Your Internal Medicine training will guide the evaluation and management of chronic wounds, with training provided for bedside procedures such as debridement and overseeing comprehensive wound

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Manage underlying conditions affecting wound healing.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
