Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Jackson, MS is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This role offers high clinical autonomy, no-call lifestyle, and opportunities to add hands-on procedures within a supportive team.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, evaluate chronic wounds, and use advanced dressings and protocols, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities to manage wound care in skilled nursing settings.
