Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX seeks a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Full-time or part-time positions available with weekday schedules and no on-call requirements.

Candidates must hold MD or DO, an unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility, and a DEA license or eligibility. Wound care training provided; independent contractor pay structure with uncapped earnings for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background and willingness to train in wound care.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
