Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking General Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs. This no-call role offers Monday–Friday schedules with part-time or full-time options and a focus on autonomy outside traditional hospital settings.

You’ll perform bedside debridement and wound care, maintain clinical autonomy, and work with a team to deliver high-quality care in a less congested environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; we provide training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
