Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon in Beaumont, TX to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with options for full-time or part-time work, keeping clinical autonomy while avoiding hospital‑system pressures.

Responsibilities include bedside debridement and wound management, with opportunities to apply advanced dressings and collaborate with post-acute care teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; no wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care surgeries and bedside debridement.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with SNFs and post-acute care teams to guide healing.
