Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities around Stockton, CA. The role offers a no-call lifestyle and the opportunity to maintain surgical skills with autonomy in a physician-led setting.

You'll perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage complex wounds, and practice with per-patient/per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses. Flexible part-time or full-time options are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols in post-acute settings.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities to manage patient healing.
