Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking Bariatric Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call, weekday-focused schedule with both part-time and full-time options, preserving clinical autonomy and ongoing surgical practice.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage non-healing wounds, and participate in documentation and collaboration across post-acute settings. A strong preference for surgeons seeking balance and impact.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted medical license in state of practice or eligibility
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Perform bariatric surgical procedures and bedside wound care as part of wound care initiatives
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Utilize advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to monitor healing
