Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy and the opportunity to practice outside the high-pressure hospital environment.

We offer a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with training provided for wound care and a compensation model as an independent contractor, with earning potential up to $300,000+ per year. Arlington-based, full-/part-time options.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the applicable state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• All backgrounds considered; no prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
