Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Manhattan, NY seeks an Acute Care Surgeon for a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will debride wounds, perform bedside procedures, and manage complex wound care across facilities, with autonomy and a focus on outcomes. Training is provided; licensure is required in the state of practice. This role offers a high-impact surgical career outside hospital politics.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-eligible and unrestricted medical license in the practice state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Comprehensive wound care training provided; no prior wound care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other wound care procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use of advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities in post-acute care to follow patients through healing.
