Skilled Wound Care is seeking Acute Care Surgeons in Huntsville, AL to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no‑call, Monday‑Friday role lets you keep your surgical skills with debridement and bedside procedures while avoiding night and weekend shifts.

The position offers a full-time or part-time arrangement with a physician-led team, competitive compensation, and strong autonomy in patient care outside of large hospital systems.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Wound care training provided and supported by the employer.

Responsabilités

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds and complex cases.
• Advanced dressings and wound protocols for post-acute care.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings with clinical autonomy.
