Skilled Wound Care in Huntsville, AL is seeking Trauma Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with options for full-time or part-time work, and a pathway to apply elite trauma skills in a focused wound care setting.

You will perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and collaborate with post-acute teams to follow patients through healing.

Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Wound care training provided; no prior wound care experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries and post-surgical wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
