Job summary

Rowan College of South Jersey is seeking a full-time Clinical Coordinator for Nuclear Medicine Technology to coordinate clinical and didactic education under the program director. The role includes onboarding, site visits, and evaluation of student performance, with involvement in recruitment and retention activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
• Certified nuclear medicine technologist by a nationally recognized certifying body.
• Knowledgeable of current nuclear medicine technology.
• Minimum of two (2) years post certification experience in nuclear medicine technology.
• Demonstrated leadership and teaching experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with variable hours, includes evenings and possible weekends.
• Ability to travel, as needed, for College, accreditation, and clinical needs.
• Communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, and community partners.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to a student-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current licensures and certifications (CNMT or ARRT(N), NJDEP).
• Conduct on-site visits to clinical affiliates for evaluation of student performance.
• Performs student/affiliate follow-up post-site visit.
• Assist the PD with clinical remediation plans.
• Councils and evaluates students in clinical experience.
• Evaluate potential growth of clinical affiliates in collaboration with the PD.
• Assist PD with onboarding of new clinical affiliates.
• May include teaching related clinical courses.
• Maintain and update clinical course syllabi and materials.
